Edinburgh, Scotland
Edinburgh in Scotland is one of the most beautiful major world class cities and it is also hub for culture, entertainment and activities. If it’s culture you are after, the Edinburgh Castle, which overlooks the city is simply stunning; the castle overlooks the Royal Mile, home to many boutique stores offering something different from your usual city streets. Although kids usually love castles, if viewing historical buildings and monuments doesn’t appeal to the kids, you could instead start with the Dungeons, a ghost tour to the underground of Edinburgh, or go to Camera Obscura, which puts a spotlight on optical illusions – and will enlighten visitors of any age.
Barcelona
Barcelona, is much like the European version of the first place we mentioned, California, since it has everything for the whole family including, culture, entertainment and relaxation. But in particular, it’s great for people who love art, as you can see the work of Picasso among other high-profile artists. You don’t often get a city holiday and a beach holiday together, but you do in Barcelona! The man-made beach is a lovely addition to the sunny city.
